You Want Your Business to Stand Out…But Have You Tried This?

Who are you REALLY competing with?

(I’ll give you a hint. It’s you, boo.) Let me paint the picture for you.

You have this really incredible [INSERT idea, product, or service], and you know it’s superior to the competition out there. That’s great! But what now?

It’s not enough to have the best thing in your industry.

Marketing is not about having the best product (though, of course, that helps your case). It IS about making sure people KNOW about your message and are fully convinced of the value you bring.

Let’s switch up the goal here. Rather than “to stand out”, try “to be a trusted voice in your industry”. Much better, yes?

My challenge to you is to come up with something different. Make sure it matters to your customer.

Make it useful.

Make it reliable.

Just MAKE it.

THAT is what will make you ultimately stand out among the rest.

If you do this over and over, you will prove that you are not only a valuable resource, but one that can be trusted with whatever time, money, or energy a customer offers you.

If you can do that, you’ll be golden.
