There, I said it. Some might call it “wealth” or “prosperity”, you get the picture. It’s certainly not a bad thing to hope for. It’s also not a bad thing to admit you are ACTIVELY working towards.
Where to begin? With your mindset.
The abundance mindset is built on the idea that there is ENOUGH for everyone. I’m not just talking money here: enough new ideas, enough resources, enough viable strategies for success to go around. If you are seeking to get serious about your finances, start with this statement:
“I am willing to learn from those who can teach me.”
Anyone who is unwilling to share their financial tips and tricks with a well-intentioned listener is not participating in abundance. They’re up REAL close and personal with abundance’s sneaky counterpart: the scarcity mindset.
Here’s the not-so-secret truth: those who lead you to believe you cannot create more abundance for yourself are the same people teaching you THEIR scarcity mindset. The idea that we must keep our methods secret or else someone will upstage us is old news. Let that go.
Now, I’m not saying that the shift to abundance is instantaneous and you’ll stumble across a hundred dollar bill on the ground after reading this. But–if you bring this state of mind to the table as you have conversations and actively learn from others, you will see the impact.
Recognize where you are at and where you want to go. Seek out the individuals that are already there, whether that’s in person, in an online masterclass, or via podcast. Begin learning from them, and you’re on your way.
